Qualification Criteria for CLAT 2020
The qualification criteria for CLAT 2020 for affirmation in UG and PG program are given underneath.
Undergrad Program (Five Year Integrated LLB (Hons) Course)
Candidates ought to be Passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least (I) Forty-Five percent (45%) in case applicants belong to the following categories – Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP)/NRI/NRI supported classifications and (ii) (40%) marks if they belong to SC/ST category. Age Limit

Post-Graduate Program (One Year LLM Course)

UG Program
English, including Comprehension: The English segment will test the capability in English dependent on comprehension passage and grammar. In the comprehension, candidates will be assessed based on their understanding of the passage and its central topic, the meaning of words used in that, and so on. The grammar part requires the correction of grammatical errors, filling spaces in sentences with suitable words, and so forth.
Current Affairs & General Knowledge: The General information will be assessed on the general awareness of the candidate, including static general knowledge. Questions on current issues will test the competitor’s on their insight into national and global current issues.
Quantitative Aptitude: This segment will test the competitor’s information on elementary mathematics, i.e., maths taught up to tenth Class/Standard.
Legal Aptitude: The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the ability of Law, research aptitude. Questions may incorporate legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition must be applied. A few propositions may not be “valid” in the genuine sense; candidates should accept “reality” of these suggestions and answer inquiries in like manner.
Logical Reasoning: The purpose behind the logical reasoning segment is to test the ability to identify patterns, logical links, and rectify illogical arguments. It incorporates syllogisms, logical sequencing, analogies, and so on. However, visual thinking won’t be tested.

Exam Mode: As per the CLAT 2020 exam pattern, the test will be held in offline mode.
Duration: Candidate will be given 2 hours to attempt the law examinations.
Sections: There are two sections in the PG CLAT – Objective and Descriptive Section.
Number & Type of Questions: There will be total of 150 (for UG) & 150 (for PG) of multiple-choice questions.
Marking: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark each and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Language: The questions of CLAT 2020 will be in the English language only.
